Cottonseed oil, cold-pressed and refined. Natural oil made by cold pressing cotton seeds and then refined. In this oil, refining is an essential process to remove Gossypium – a harmful substance that the plant produces to protect against insects and herbivores. It has a slightly yellow tinge and is odourless.

Properties of cottonseed oil

It contains many unsaturated fatty acids: linoleic, palmitic, behenic and vitamin E, making it perfect for skincare. It can remove free radicals, has a soothing, moisturizing and regenerating effect on the irritated skin of the face and body, and helps heal minor wounds and cuts. The oil has anti-inflammatory properties and increases the skin’s resistance to infections. Cottonseed oil can be used on the face, the hair and the entire body and is highly recommended when noticing the first signs of ageing on the body skin. Especially good for sensitive skin prone to acne and dry, prone to irritation and allergies.

Cottonseed oil, due to the high content of fatty acids, is also suitable for the regeneration and care of dry and damaged hair and brittle ends and prevents splitting. How to use it?

This oil is excellent for a hair oiling treatment. Use it on the entire length and leave for about 30 minutes, then wash your hair with shampoo.
Or use few drops of cottonseed oil and massage it into the scalp.
Cottonseed oil works magic when added to creams, face masks and hair masks. It is also used for nail care.
